Côte d'Or - Baker & Baker
Challenge
The main challenge was to successfully introduce the new Côte d'Or fresh bakery products to both the Belgian and Dutch markets in 2025, in a highly competitive FMCG landscape. As a co-branded launch between Côte d'Or and Baker & Baker, the campaign needed strong positioning to highlight quality, authenticity and brand heritage, while staying relevant to retailers, foodservice partners and consumers. The goal was to create media awareness across both markets, create appetite appeal, and differentiate the range from other chocolate bakery products.
Solution
To introduce the Côte d'Or bakery range effectively, we implemented a targeted PR campaign in Belgium and the Netherlands. We secured media coverage in key food, retail and lifestyle outlets to highlight the product launch and the co-branding story. Influencers were engaged to create authentic, appetizing content that increased visibility among consumers. We also shared tailored press materials and product samples with journalists, bloggers and trade media to encourage tastings and coverage. This approach ensured strong awareness at both consumer and industry level.
Result
The campaign achieved strong traction across both countries, with more than 25 articles appearing in Belgian (FR & NL) and Dutch media. Coverage included leading outlets such as TAGMAG and HLN, providing wide reach and high credibility. This media attention significantly boosted awareness of the new Côte d'Or bakery products among consumers and industry stakeholders.
